Infant Feeding Support and Bodywork

We provide orthopedic assessment and treatment for infants with feeding challenges, colic and sleep issues. Parents struggling with these pressing challenges are often told by well-meaning providers that this is “normal” and the baby will “grow out of it”. But there is actually so much we can do to help set babies up for happier, more peaceful feeding and sleep without having to suffer through months of struggle. Body tension from tethered oral tissues (ie tongue and lip ties), positioning in-utero, prolonged labor or postural problems like torticolis can impact so much of your baby’s function, contributing to poor latch, mouth breathing and other problems that make your baby uncomfortable.

We provide a head-to-toe assessment of your baby and use specialized hands-on techniques and stretches to help your baby regain normal movement and flexibility to improve feeding and comfort. We teach parents how to use these techniques at home to facilitate a faster improvement in symptoms and bring more calm and peace to your family.

*Please note we are not lactation consultants or counselors and often refer to our wide network of local lactation professionals for a full feeding work-up. We provide the hands on bodywork and physical therapy support to compliment a comprehensive feeding plan.

Let us help you get sounder sleep and reduce baby’s pain and discomfort
